As you prepare to renew your bar license, please take a moment to reflect on the professional responsibility to provide pro bono services or a contribution to a legal aid organization. As you know, The Rules Regulating the Florida Bar call on each of us to provide at least 20 hours of pro bono legal service to the poor or a contribution of at least $350 to a legal aid organization each year.

If you have not already provided pro bono service this year, we ask that you consider sending your contribution to TRLS. Your donation helps us provide these services to the indigent, abused, disabled, and elderly members of our society through advocacy, advice, and representation.

Our Pro Bono Legal Assistance Program complements our staff services, referring out hundreds of cases each year to volunteers throughout the state, and providing dozens of options for volunteers to engage such as clinics, community presentations, mentorship, advice/counsel, and full representation.
