Disaster/Hurricane Irma Assistance

Did your home or apartment suffer damage during Hurricane Irma?  Has a contractor taken your money and not done the work to repair your home? Did your insurance company deny your claim?  Have you applied for FEMA assistance and been denied?  Has FEMA charged you with an overpayment from your claim? Did you lose your job after the hurricane because your employer had to shut down a business?  Are you facing foreclosure due to problems related to Hurricane Irma?

Three Rivers Legal Services has special short-term funding from the Florida Bar Foundation to assist area residents with legal issues arising from Hurricane Irma, the storm that hit our region in September 2017.

Legal issues and challenges arise in a variety of situations following a natural disaster.  An attorney can help  with appealing a FEMA claim denial, obtaining disaster food assistance or reemployment assistance (unemployment compensation), dealing with insurance companies, dealing with contractors, or even dealing with your landlord or mortgage company.

Call 866-256-8091 now to make an appointment to speak to one of our attorneys or click Apply for Legal Services Online and receive a call from one of our Intake Specialists, to see if you are eligible for free assistance.
